- Hearing & Speech Nova Scotia ethics framework
Monitoring
The Board regularly monitors and assesses organizational performance, risks, and outcomes. The board reviews its roles, responsibilities, and accountability to staff, patients/clients, families, partners, and the communities we serve.
The Board Member Commitment form outlines the individual roles and responsibilities of the board. Members acknowledge their responsibilities and disclose any potential conflict of interest.
Board members are responsible for attending monthly Board meetings, participating in Board orientation, education and evaluation activities, and in committees. The Board also regularly meets with patients/families, staff, and community partners.
