How do I join the Board?

If you want to join the Board, complete an Expression of Interest form and email it to info@nshsc.nshealth.ca

Next steps

The Hearing & Speech Nova Scotia Executive Assistant to the CEO will notify the Board Nominating Committee Chair of your expression of interest form.

The Nominating Committee will review your form and decide if your experience and skills match with the Board's recruiting priorities. If the committee decides you are a good match, you will be contacted to arrange an interview.

After the interview, the Nominating Committee will decide whether to recommend you to the Board as a new member at the annual meeting of the Society in June.

You will receive notification of the Board's decision by letter.

If you have been selected to be on the Board, you will receive information about attending the Board's orientation program.
